Notes From Around the Arena
May 14th - 21st
Well you may be noticing some new names again on the riders list. I would like to introduce you and welcome our new riders
We have Todd Boeger an adult working with Zen. Todd has riding experience and has been delightful to coach. Welcome Todd.
On Tuesdays after school we have Alex and Olivia Mazzucco and there mom is Kim. If i remember this correctly Alex is 8 and Olivia is 5. They came ready to steer and ride. With their great balance, they seem to fit right in to our MOB.
On Wednesday mornings we have begun the toddler program. ( I am looking for a new name for this group, if you have an idea let me know)
The new little guys are Sabur Tierney age 4 1/2 and Nikolas Klimenko age 3. Sabura is mommy to Sabur and Shellie is Nikolas' mommy. Ocho worked with these guys and was very pleased to see a few boys in the line up. We all had a magical time, with lots of smiles.
Congratulations to Judy and Frenchie, Daily High Point winner for the 18 and over division, at the D'Alonzo Show this Saturday. Frenchie and Judy were fabulous in their walk/jog classes and are improving their showmanship. But I was most pleased and proud to see the focused execution of the trail pattern. I have to say, WOW. Great job Judy.
And to Clair and Rocky who took the 14-17 Daily High Point what a wonderful come back they are having. Rocky was solid and pleased with himself. Their showmanship also is shining through. And trail is becoming less and less of an obstacle.
On Sunday Clair rode Pharaoh to the Daily high point 14-17 one last time in the winter/spring series. For this little duo the last chance to add points for their claim to the series high point. There is one more show left. However, Clair and Pharaoh are committed to the semi finals for gymkhana and will have to miss the D'Alonzo finale. Fingers crossed we will just wait to see if their lead in the 14-17 is enough to hold high point and for the jumping reserve titles.
